I am really trying to reach outside of my comfort zone this last week with my color palette. I know there is a lot of aqua in this painting BUT there is a lot of gold and purple and that's new for me.
I painted this in a small format on canvas paper so it is available to be painted in any size for a commission! Contact me if you are interested.

I am having a lot of fun painting these small abstracts. That is probably because they are faster to paint and feel a bit more experimental. I think these could hang either vertically or horizontally. And I do love the fabulous colors and movement. Somehow I created a lot of depth. I will have to try that again (if I can figure out how I actually did that!). Let me know what you think of "Wispy Waves".

It's painted entirely with a palette knife and has a great color palette. I wonder how long I can keep painting an abstract every day? Perhaps until I run out of canvas storage space? Ha!
