I know I told you I was working on a black and white abstract. And I am. It's just not done yet (which actually means I don't like it and it needs a lot more work). Today I painted in my studio from 10:00 am until 7:00 pm and managed to paint a lot of colorful abstracts (like this one!). It was a fabulous day, with one exception, the "black and white" abstract. The painting will get there. Eventually. It just may end up with a lot of of layers of paint! 

I get asked all of the time how I know when a painting is done. That's easy! It's done when I like it. And that can happen fast or take a week. Or a month. But I do know that feeling when it's done. Usually I am smiling!
