It's day seven. That's right. That means we are finished with week #1 of the 30 Day Challenge. Congrats! Only three more to go.

You have probably figured out that I absolutely love to paint with bright colors. It's my calling and I don't know if I will ever be able to "mute the colors" while creating in my studio. Haha.

I am often asked how I pick the colors for my paintings. I usually just head on over to the rolling carts in my studio which hold all of my paints and start picking them. But I also stroll through magazines and look at other artwork for ideas of color combinations. I love the colors in this painting. And I think it looks fabulous in the room above!
