I am thrilled that this month I have had an easy time painting these large abstract paintings. I use to suffer from "cleaning studio syndrome" in which I would enter my studio and waste a good hour or two simply straightening and reorganizing. In truth I was actually stalling and waiting for inspiration to get paint on the canvas.
(Unfortunately a turn of events today, i.e. lots of rain, led to quite a bit of flooding in my studio so as soon as it stops raining I am going to need to clean my studio! Ugh.)

I am frustrated that I can't paint in my studio until the rain stops and the water is swept out (or evaporated!). So I am spending the day sitting by the fire and catching up on paper work and computer stuff. Not bad.
