"Bright Day"
Acrylic Abstract, 20" x 20"

Available
I frequently get requests to paint small and affordable abstracts for first time collectors. This painting is 20" x 20" and is available at a great price, $400.00. The colors are spectacular and would look great in any home!

Now that it is Day #22 I am getting a little sad that the Challenge will be over soon! With only eight more day left I really want to continue. Of course I will need a bit of a break but after that I will be back in my studio to paint more on a daily basis!

What do you think? Are you ready for the Challenge to end?

Love this piece Leslie! No I am not ready for it to end. :) Always so daunting in the beginning. Feels like a steep climb. But then all of the sudden we are at the middle, and the day after that, it is almost the end. Thanks Leslie for putting the challenge together. It is always a learning experience!

I agree with you 100%. Of course I don't have to end on January 30th. I guess I could keep painting!

The challenge is not so bad...the impending blizzard stinks!

Stay inside and stay warm. I hope my "California son" in DC is prepared for this!

I am kind of anxious for it all to end. I generally paint lartger but could not complete a larger painting in a single day. I think when I get done I will see about doing 10 paintings in 30 days. I have many ideas I can't wait to tackle.

I think ten large paintings in 30 days is a fabulous idea!

Well, since you asked....Hell Yeah! I don't know how something can be both my favorite and least favorite at the same time. I guess I'm a split personality. I love this challenge and can't say enough how grateful I am for it...and yet part of me just yearns to go back to normal life! (the part that never gets any painting done, lol). And this is my favorite piece of yours Leslie--Luminescent!

I also agree about the love/hate thing. This time it is mostly love as I am really excited with my finished paintings. I think you might also be tired as you are ALWAYS the first or second person to post your painting at midnight! OMG. That's dedication my friend.

I'll let you in on a little secret Leslie....I have a secret weapon...my boyfriend! He's a night owl and frequently posts for me. Is that cheating? (And that's dedication!) And yeah, I'm tired...and I get about 3 hours more sleep every night than you do!
Glad you're loving it!

Thanks Barbara! Sometimes the colors just sing when they hit the canvas. It was unexpected but I am happy with the finished piece.

Hi Leslie, this is a beautiful painting - my favorite of yours yet. I admire how you have done these large scale paintings everyday.

I'm enjoying the challenge and, like you, will be a little sad for it to end. So perhaps I will continue to do it as a small warm up before a longer painting session. There's something about the satisfaction of finishing something every time I go into the studio. Thank you again for hosting.
